About the atlas
Game Atlas Review is a small independent editorial site based in the UK. We chart the big games so that people can choose one without spending an evening finding out it wasn't for them.
Why an atlas
Most reviews are written for people who have already decided to play. We write for the moment before that: a free evening, a shortlist, and the question of which game deserves it. An atlas seemed the right shape. It doesn't tell you where to go; it tells you what is there.
Who makes it
A small editorial desk in the north of England, working from the published record of each game: developer documentation, patch notes, store pages, terms and official announcements. The method page explains exactly how bearings are set and what we do and do not claim.
How it is funded
Out of our own pocket. There is no advertising on the site at the moment, no affiliate links and no paid placement. If we ever add advertising it will be labelled as such and will never influence a bearing.
